Marine Drive
In India’s city of dreams Mumbai, the USP is its Marine Drive. It’s a three-and-a-half-kilometer road along the coastline. The name of the actual road along it is Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Road. This C-shaped, six-lane concrete road connects Nariman Point to Babulnath, situated at the foot of Malabar Hill. For most tourists and locals, it’s their favorite spot, especially during monsoons and in the month of January. Sunrises and sunsets look splendid from this clean place.
It is also referred to as the Queen’s necklace because in the night it offers a stunning sight and creates an illusion of a necklace with the street lights acting as pearls. Mornings and evenings here are a sight to behold, with sunsets and sunrises and people walking and jogging and meditating.
Tetrapods, which were originally made to protect the promenade from the strong waves, have become a preferable spot to take pictures for tourists.
Marine Drive, for sure, is everyone’s go-to place, be it to celebrate small occasions, cry after a sad moment, spend time with loved ones or give time to oneself.
