Gazoldoba
Gazoldoba sees itself as a small village in the Oodlabari of Jalpaiguri. The village is situated near the Teesta River and is famed for its dam on the Teesta basin. Gajoldoba is still untouched by the many visitors visiting West Bengal and so presents itself in a wild and virgin form.
Gazoldoba because of its serene and blissful climate attracts many migratory birds here and thus makes a paradise for bird lovers. The popular birds to be spotted here are Little Grebe, River Lapwing, Great Crested Grebe, Bar-headed Goose, Lesser Whistling Duck, Ruddy Shelduck, Cotton Teal, Tufted Duck, Common Teal, Eurasian Wigeon, Spot-billed Duck, Mallard, Great Cormorant, Indian Cormorant, Common Shelduck, Little Cormorant, Indian Pond Heron, Grey Heron, Purple Heron, Northern Lapwing, Greylag Goose, Grey-headed Lapwing, Little Ringed Plover, and many more.
River Teesta offers a wonderful boat ride with the awe-inspiring surroundings. One can visit here to enjoy the beauty of nature to the fullest.
