Digha
Digha is famed as a seaside resort town in the state of West Bengal, India. The city finds its place at the northern end of the Bay of Bengal. Digha was initially known by the name- Beerkul.
Digha is famed for its old church, which can be seen near the Old Digha Main gate and this place is also known as Alankarpur Digha. Adding to the many attractions of Digha is the recently introduced- Science Centre established by the National Council of Science Museums. The Digha seaface stating right from Old Digha to New Digha is adorned with beautiful casuarina plantations which adds to the beauty of the place.
