Darjeeling Himalayan Railway Ghoom Museum
DHR Ghum Museum also known as the DHR Ghoom Museum is located at the Ghum railway station premises. The museum is just above the station. Apart from the Ghoom Museum. there are two more museums of Darjeeling Himalayan Railways at Kurseong and Sukna respectively.
The museum was established in the year 2000 with the aim of spreading the history of the toy train of Darjeeling. The museum is set up amidst a beautiful garden. The major attraction of this museum is Baby Sivok. It is the oldest toy train engine of Darjeeling Himalayan Railways started in 1881.
The museum houses many collectibles pertaining to the history of the toy trains in Darjeeling and also some of the rare photographs depicting the blissful journey of these trains for ages.
The museum trip also comes under the toy train ride.
