Beruwala
Beruwala sees itself as a town in Kalutara District, Western Province, Sri Lanka. The town sees itself as the fishing village and the beach destination of the country. The most revered beach here is the “Golden Mile”, which has been named so because of its golden glittering sand.
Apart from the leisurely resting on the beach, one can also enjoy numerous water activities like scooter rides, windsurfing, parasailing, water skiing, swimming, Deep-sea Fishing, Wreck & Coral Reef Diving and much more. If one is interested in Gems, then they must head to the China Fort. It sees itself as the gem trading fair of the town. The town also holds numerous religious centres as Kachimalai Mosque and The Galapata Buddhist Temple.
