Jaffna
Jaffna sees itself as a city on the northern tip of Sri Lanka. The city holds a rich history. It has been a religious, commercial and historical centre since ages. The city has been among the four main seaports in Sri Lanka since times long. It has seen the south Indian Tamils for long and still holds most of them. One of the important and historic landmarks of the city is the Jaffna Fort. It stands as the second-largest Dutch Fort of the country.
