Chitwan National Park

The Chitwan National Park lies at the foot of the Mahabharat range in the inner Tarai lowlands of Chitwan. It holds the prestige of being the first national park of the country and is also listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Sprawling over 932 sq. km of land, this park is the most well preserved conservation area in the whole of Asia. This national park holds a variety of flora and fauna. One can spot numerous species of mammals, reptiles and birds.

Chitwan National Park is an ideal place for spotting the great Asiatic elephants. The place is a treat for wildlife and nature lovers. one can go wandering around the forest taking a Jeep Safari or walking on foot. Every bit of the land, water and sky is the habitat for the variety of species. The beautiful park is all adorned with the incredible wild animals making this place apiece of heaven. The park is also home to the endangered species like the Greater one-horned rhinoceros and the Royal Bengal tiger.
