Siddhivinayak Temple
Located in Prabhadevi, Mumbai is a beautifully designed Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha. It is the Siddhivinayak Ganapati Mandir. It was built in 1801 and still stands tall and new. The temple has a small mandap inside, which houses the idol of Ganesha. The ceiling of the mandap is gold plated.
Devotees remain in awe as they stand in large queues only to wait for a few seconds long glance of their God. The temple is really famous as it sees a lot of politicians and Bollywood celebrities coming to seek blessings. To reach there, people usually get off at Dadar station on the Western line of the local train and take a bus.
The timings of the temple and aarti can be checked on the temple’s official website. To avoid long lines, there is also a facility of standing in VIP queues. The temple welcomes all devotees and tourists in an aura they’ve not witnessed before.
