Amber Palace

Located in the beautiful town of Amer, Amber Fort is one of the most eminent tourist places in Jaipur. Standing on a lofty hill, Amber Fort is a sight worth seeing as the reflection falls in the lake just in front of it and creates an upside-down image of the same and creates a breathtaking view.
The fort is beautifully influenced by the Mughal architecture which is mainly constructed of sandstone and marble. The Halls, of the public and private audience along with the mirror palace and Sheesh Mahal, make the most of its map.
On the city of Meenas which was later ruled by Raja Maan Singh who also built this fort, stands the temple of Shila Devi near the fort’s entrance which was gifted to the Raja for one of his victories.
The average tourism at the place was reported 7000 per day as of 2007. It is one of the 5 forts which are recognized by the UNESCO World Heritage sites.
