Marine Aquarium Vizhinjam

Marine aquarium in Vizhinjam is a must visit aquarium in Kerala, and here you will see wide varieties of rare aquatic species. This includes lion fish, surgeon fish, clown fish, squirrel fish, piranhas, giant turtles, moon wrasse, butterfly fish, trigger fish and sharks. It is Located near the Theater Junction at Vizhinjam in Thiruvananthapuram, this aquarium is a rich treasure house of marine wealth which has perfected the Image Pearl production technique, by which a mould of any shape, made of shell cement is implanted into the pearl oyster. within three months a pearl in shape of the mould used is ready. The images of Christ, Virgin Mary, idols of Hindu gods and goddesses are displayed in the Aquarium. It is worth a visit, if you are with kids.
