St. Alex Church

St. Alex Church which gives Calangute a divine ambiance was built in 1741 by the village communities with the help of donations. The towers of the church were elevated in 1765 and the main sanctum Capelamor was renovated and consecrated since 1916. The church confided with the Diocesan Clergy in 1767 posses a Cupola Falsa of Indian style.
